These games differ greatly from Michonne, which not only centers on the blade-wielding character from both the comics and TV series, but the story also unfolds in a shorter three-episode adventure. Prior to its release, it looked as though Michonne was going to have to keep fans satisfied for the time being. But now, Telltale has revealed that The Walking Dead season 3 will be coming out later this year. Season 2 followed young Clem’s survival and offered players the ability to influence the destiny of certain key characters. The first season introduced fans to Clementine, who helped drive the series to its current popularity.
As if Telltale wasn’t busy enough putting together ideas for a Batman series, releasing a retail edition of their Tales from the Borderlands, and wrapping up Minecraft: Story Mode, the developer and publisher also recently released The Walking Dead: Michonne, a spin-off to their main The Walking Dead game series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic books.
